Our Story…

Est. 2017

Our story begins long before Olive Branch Ranch was established. We come from a long line of farmers, from a culture where tending the land was woven into everyday life. Our ancestors knew its seasons, cared for its soil, and gathered around tables filled with what they had grown. The land sustained them, and caring for it was a responsibility passed from one generation to the next.

We carry that responsibility with us today. We see ourselves as stewards, always learning from the land and seeking to give back to the soil that sustains us. Our belief in humane animal care, organic growing practices, regenerative farming, and soil restoration guides the farm we are building.

For us, farming is a way of remembering where we come from, and nurturing what we hope to leave behind: healthier soil, a connected community, and land that will nourish generations to come.

Our Farming Practices

Caring for the land that cares for us.

At Olive Branch Ranch, farming is rooted in our heritage and guided by a responsibility to future generations. We come from a long line of farmers who understood that the health of the soil, the animals, and the people it feeds are deeply connected. Today, we carry that understanding into the way we care for our farm.

Building Healthy Soil

Healthy soil is the foundation of a thriving farm. Our approach centers on regenerative practices and soil restoration, nurturing the life beneath our feet and supporting the land’s ability to sustain growth over time. We see soil as something to care for, replenish, and protect.

Raising Animals With Care

We believe animals deserve humane treatment, attentive care, and respect throughout their lives. Understanding their needs and providing for their well-being is central to our work and to the values we bring to raising food for our community.

Working With Nature

Our commitment to organic growing practices begins with paying attention: to the seasons, the needs of our plants and animals, and the relationships that keep a farm healthy. We aim to make thoughtful choices that support the soil, conserve resources, and encourage a diverse, living landscape.

Learning From the Land

Stewardship is an ongoing practice. We draw on the knowledge passed down through our families while continuing to learn, observe, and adapt. Each season offers lessons in patience, balance, and the care this particular piece of land needs.

Our hope is simple: to grow nourishing food, care well for our animals, and leave the land healthier for those who come after us.
